the village intelligent business man

intelligent businessman

Along time ago, a poor labourer lived in a village in North India. That village was situated on the edge of mountains and forests. Therefore, bandits living in the forests often used to attack this village at night. The bandits used to snatch whatever they found with the villagers.

Once a businessman came to this village. Since it was night, he knocked on the door of a laborer's house. The laborer opened the door. The businessman said to the laborer - "I had come to go to the city. But it got dark here. Can you give me a place to spend the night in your house?"

The laborer was a very good man. He welcomed the stranger who had come to his house and said, "Why not? Come, this is your house. You can spend the night here."

The labourer fed the businessman with great love and respect whatever food he had in his house. Then he arranged for him to sleep.

Around midnight, the businessman woke up after hearing some noise. He saw that the owner of the house and the labourer were carrying the goods with them.
